1. Who are we?
1.1 We are Sparkx. We offer a sportainment park where you can easily discover and experience a variety of sports (“Park”). To gain access to the Park and track your own performance, you must create a profile on our web application (hereinafter referred to as the “Portal”), and you can consult our website to obtain information about our Park (“Website”).

1.2 In this Privacy Policy, we explain which data we collect from you, why we process this data, to whom your personal data may be disclosed, how long we retain your data, whether your data is secure with us, and what you can do with your data.
2. What is data?
2.1 Data refers to all information about you that enables us to identify you. This can include your name, age, or address, but also data about your sports performance in our Park.
3. From whom do we collect personal data?
3.1 To operate our Park, we may collect data from customers, users of the Portal, visitors to our Park and Website, including children, the parent or responsible guardian of children visiting our Park, as well as individuals who provide us with their contact details in any other way, and individuals who contact us by email or through other means.
4. Do we share your data with others?
4.1 Yes. We may share your data with other companies. These companies help Sparkx carry out tasks related to the Park, the Website, or the Portal. For example, we may disclose your data to providers of IT and payment services, external consultants, and other subcontractors of Sparkx who provide services for the Park, the Website, and the Portal. Sparkx does not share your data outside the European Economic Area. If a situation ever requires this, Sparkx will always take the appropriate and necessary measures to protect your data and privacy.
5. How long do we retain your data?
5.1 Sparkx retains your data for as long as it is needed. If you choose to no longer share your data with Sparkx, we will stop using it. However, Sparkx will securely store the data in an encrypted and inaccessible form on its servers for a period of 10 years.
5.2 The retention period for camera footage never exceeds one month, except when the recorded images may contribute to proving a crime, damage, or nuisance, or to identifying a perpetrator, a public order disturbance, a witness, or a victim.
5.3 We may retain your data for a longer period if it is necessary to comply with a specific legal requirement.
6. Is your data safe with Sparkx?
6.1 Yes. The Website and the Portal must be a secure environment for your data. That’s why Sparkx places great importance on the security of your information—because your data belongs to you alone. We promise to do everything we can to store all the data you provide on our Website or Portal securely and to implement the appropriate security measures.

[1] The Sparkx DNA is a graph on your profile in the Portal that shows which areas you excelled in during your visit to our amusement park.
[2] Through Sparx connections, it is possible to create a profile for a friend, child or parent before or during the visit to the Park.
8. In control of your data
8.1 You are and always remain in control of your data. After all, it is your data. That’s why you have several rights you can exercise. Here’s what you can do with your data:
- Access: to see what information Sparkx holds about you;
- Edit: to let Sparkx know that, for example, your name is misspelled or you have a different e-mail address;
- Delete: to let Sparkx know that you no longer want Sparkx to keep your data. You can also revoke your previously given consent at any time. If Sparkx then has no valid reason to keep your data, Sparkx will delete it;
- Freezing: in some cases, you can request the restriction of your data, which amounts to not allowing us to do anything more with your data for a while;
- Stop receiving advertising: to let Sparkx know that you no longer wish to receive our newsletter. To do this you can unsubscribe at the bottom of every newsletter we send to you. In addition, you can ask Sparkx to stop processing data when to approach you with advertising;
- Transfer: in some cases, you can ask Sparkx to get your data back so that it can be transferred to another company.
You can exercise these rights by sending an email to privacy@sparkx.com. Only if you submit a large number of repetitive, unfounded, or excessively complex requests may we charge an administrative fee.
9. Privacy of children
9.1 Sparkx aims to provide a safe environment for children. In Belgium, you may independently give your consent for the processing of your data starting at the age of 13. Are you under 13 years old? If so, this is only possible if your parents or guardian agree to you sharing your data with Sparkx. If your parents or guardian are not comfortable with this, they can always email Sparkx to stop it at privacy@sparkx.com.
10. Links to other websites
10.1 Our Website or Portal may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us. If you click on such a link, you will be redirected to the website of that other company, such as a social media platform. It’s best to review the privacy policy of each website you visit by clicking on such a link.
10.2 We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party websites or services.
11. Changes to our privacy policy.
11.1 From time to time, it may be necessary to update this Privacy Policy. When we announce changes to the policy, we will update the “last updated” date at the top of the document. The most recent version of this Privacy Policy will always be available for you to consult on our Website.
