To continue our (inter)nationally growth, we are seeking a talented Financial Controller & Project Analyst (Future CFO) to join our team.

Job description

The Financial Controller & Project Analyst is a multifaceted role designed to support business performance through financial control, in-depth analysis, process optimization, and effective project management. This role requires a blend of analytical expertise, process improvement skills, and project management capabilities to drive strategic initiatives, ensure accurate financial reporting, and optimize business processes.

As a Financial Controller & Project Analyst (future CFO), you will:

• Monitor the accuracy and integrity of accounting and financial data.
• Handle ad-hoc analyses, projects and reports at the request of management and stakeholders.
• Implement and monitor internal controls, prepare financial reports, and analyse variances between budgeted and actual performance.
• Analyse and manage projects from financial perspectives, ensuring the projects stay within budget and meet performance targets.
• Evaluate and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide analytical support for strategic planning and decision-making.
• Identify inefficiencies and risks, develop standard operating procedures, and implement automation tools to streamline operations and boost efficiency across departments.

Profile

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
• You have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in business control, general accounting, financial analysis, process management, and/or auditing. Ideally within dynamic and fast-moving environments.
• You are flexible, proactive, and willing to take on diverse responsibilities.
• You are comfortable working in a quickly growing environment.
• You have a hands-on, pragmatic and will-do attitude.
• Fluency in Dutch, English and French is required.
• Familiarity with the sports or entertainment industry is a plus.
